July: Kite for a good cause in Hood River

Kitesurfing Hood River

If you are looking for some great wind and kiting action in July, Hood River is the place to be.

Expect tons of activities

Kite demo days at the sand bar, pro-riders hitting the Slider Park, awesome freestyle competitions, a bunch of new hydro-foil kiters crashing in the morning, fireworks at the event site on July 4th, and some nice vibe at night at Double Mountain Brewery.

Expand the fun and participate in an endurance fundraising event: Kiteboard 4 Cancer on July 15-16, 2017. This is an insane event where 250 kitesurfers go around a tiny course for 6 hours. Kite tangles are guaranteed or you get your money back.

Break the bank at all the gear shops and swap-meets.

Make sure to read about Phil & ME on the road.
